Position Overview:

This position is supervisory and has direct reports. This role is responsible for the construction, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Situs-AMC’s Business Analytics requirements. The strategy includes the formulating the technical requirement of the business requirement and developing the solution using BI and Data science expertise.

Essential Job Functions:

• Formulate the business requirement into a technical data analytics problem

• Propose solutions and strategies to business problems /challenges

• Identify valuable data sources and automate data processes

• Experience in processing of structured and unstructured data for the analytics use cases

• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

• Build apt predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to solve the business problem

• Combine models through ensemble modeling methods

• Present information using data visualization techniques

• 10+ years of Proven experience as a Data Scientist

• Understanding of machine-learning and statistical methods

• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with pyspark is an asset

• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data engineering tools (data bricks)

• Analytical mind and business acumen

• Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Graduate degree/ post graduate degree in statistics or Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred

· Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
