We are looking for an innovative and driven Program Manager to maintain and execute our playbook for obtaining regulatory authorizations/licenses. The successful candidate will act as a project manager in license acquisition projects across emerging markets and will look around corners to ensure that best practices and lessons learned in every jurisdiction are well documented in our playbook and replicated in new initiatives, shortening the time to obtain regulatory authorizations.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage license acquisitions projects across different jurisdictions in emerging markets. This will require coordinating work-streams that are owned by multiple stakeholders in various organizations (From finance to Infosec to legal).

• Maintain the RCS CELA License Acquisition playbook, incorporating all new identified best practices and lessons learned and ensuring that these are adhered to in practice.

• Draft playbook-compliant license acquisition project plans including careful consideration of min. staffing, regulatory lead-times and quality control timelines.

• Devise mechanisms to effectively keep track and bring transparency and accountability to the whole license aqcuisition project portfolio across emerging markets.

• Ensure the CELA is able to live up to its mission: (a) Shortening the time for Amazon entities to obtain regulatory licenses/authorizations and (b) making sure these projects are run with utmost operational excellence and in compliance with a playbook of best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience

  • Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing

  • Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in projects/programs in the realm of risk and compliance, ideally projects pertaining to the acquisition of licenses/authorizations from regulatory bodies across emerging markets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (>5 years) in 2nd line compliance teams is highly preferred.
