Applied Materials Planner II in Bangalore, India

Key Responsibilities

  • Service parts planning: Position the right level of parts in the right place to support business entitlement.

  • Demand forecast: Review demand history, and future business outlook to analyze and improve forecast accuracy and demand variation.

  • Inventory control & management: Generate & manage inventory in & out, turn, excess, obsolescence

  • Ramp site planning: Inventory preparation for new fab installation ramping

  • Service agreement planning: Inventory preparation for Service Agreement

  • Root Cause Analysis: Analytic skill to conduct root cause and corrective action for an undesired shortfall

  • Operations: Planning system & dashboard operation in SAP and MCA

  • Data Analysis: Use analytic tools, such as SQL, Hadoop, and Tableau, to improve operational efficiency.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities

Business Expertise

  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

Leadership

  • No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members
