Philips IT Platform Analyst - Service Now in Bangalore, India

To Design & Develop end to end IT applications for business, functions, and markets. An individual who designs our IT landscape for the Software & Solution Delivery domain and drives the simplification of the IT solutions leveraging proven off the shelf components while maintaining full business buy in for the proposed solutions. Recognized SME in related technologies and domains, has clear understanding of future technology trends. Capable of driving solution improvements across the end2end landscape.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate delivery and run of high-quality solution that is fully compliant in all relevant areas.

  • Govern development activities by providing coding standards and review of content to ensure compliance with those standards, best practices, alignment with strategic initiatives and the platform roadmap.

  • Act as the platform SME and provide technical expertise for all implemented applications and integration.

  • Coordinate with ServiceNow product team as needed to perform patching and upgrades.

  • Implement applications, modules and third-party integrations used within the environment.

  • Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development.

  • Mentoring and consulting the developer team with the CMDB configuration, maintenance, and operation.

  • Identify and facilitate initiatives to improve processes, delivery and total cost of ownership.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance business performance. Link technology capability with business needs.

Your team

You will be part of the IT domain within Services & Solutions IT group. The team focus is on full stack E2E solutions. Our responsibility is to simplify the Philips IT landscape, increase business value for the total IT spend. The team has close contact with business stakeholders on executive level and alignment with business is key to success. Your role reports to IT Delivery Management.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • 12+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration and development in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.

  • Development experience with service-oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)

  • Hands-on experience of building custom apps using App Engine Studio

  • Hands-on experience in ITSM modules e.g. Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Service Catalog, Release Management, Virtual Agent, etc.

  • Strong customer facing experience through implementation and deployment of CSM and Customer portal, preferably in healthcare or pharma domain.

  • Proven experience in creating and configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs, Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB Modelling, table Structure of the ServiceNow Platform and logical and physical data models for CMDB.

  • Prior experience in designing and implementing CSDM in ServiceNow.

  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.

  • Strong customer facing experience through implementation and deployment of CSM and Customer portal, preferably in healthcare or pharma domain.

  • Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical skills to support high level solution design based on business requirements and translate to detailed design as an input for development by output-based partner.

  • Ability to stay focused in a complex and demanding environment and deliver results.

  • Quality mindset, understanding of compliance domains and ownership to achieve high standards of all aspects of delivered solution.

  • Sense of end-to-end ownership of a solution in all phases of application life cycle.

  • Strong communication and a good listening skill. Able to create formal and informal networks and coordinate among teams.
