Philips IOE Engineer Operations in Bangalore, India

Job title:

One sentence description of role

Your role:

Prioritize and resolve the upcoming tickets and incidents (escalated from Tier 1 & Tier 2)

  • Monitoring the KPI’s of the portals and applications in different environments.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving of complex application and infrastructure issues Work with relevant stake holder in RCA preparation for P1, P2

  • Ensure maintenance of backup and restore processes.

  • Work on handling and maintaining the Disaster Recovery processes.

  • Manage the retention policies for Databases, Application Logs etc. Ensuring the operating process is established & followed (Calendar of Commitments)

  • Provide Support during Internal and External Audits

  • Able to interact with cross teams and able to resolve the issue reported to closure Metrics reporting on ticket inflow, resolution time etc.

  • Identifying the ticket inflow trend and coming up with proactive measures Able to Enhance customer experience through operational efficiencies and innovations.

  • Develop good relationship with customers and understand the area of improvements!

  • Should be adoptable i.e. willing to work in Dev and Operational

  • Quick Learner and adapt to changes

Technical Competency:

  • Installing and maintaining

Linux Systems

Postrgresql

ELK

Rabbitmq

  • Working knowledge on AWS Cloud Services (like EC2, IAM, KMS, VPC, S3, SMTP services, Elastic load balancers)

  • Experience in Cloud Foundry

  • Experience in Cloud / On premise Backup Solutions.

  • Bash/Python Scripting.

  • Certificate Management.

  • Experience working on Ticketing tools like JIRA/Service NOW.

  • Jenkins & Github Actions

  • K3S

Experience:

Overall, 5 to 8 years of experience.
