Roles & Responsibilities:
BOM Analysis (Longevity/lifecycle, EOL, RoHS, REACH, Alternate part, Temperature, etc.,) using Silicon Expert etc.
Alternate components comparison matrix and take decision on recommended (best suited) part
Work on Engineering Change Notices arising out of obsolescence to identify alternate components and / or board redesign.
Schematic Design , PCB Design and PCB redesign
Circuit simulation using TINA, WEBENCH, LTspice etc.,
Technical Documentation and V&V report generation
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Experience in Embedded Hardware - Mixed signal Design
Deep technical background in embedded electronic product design, understand system architecture and optimize analog, digital controller/processor-based circuits, and power Supply circuits design
Experience in Development of electronics in Industrial/automotive sector under standard aspects
Good knowledge of electrical, electronics, analog & digital circuit designs.
Hands on experience in designing with LDO, Voltage Regulators, Amplifiers, PMIC, Comparators, Drivers, etc
Communication Interface & protocols for CAN, I2c, SPI, UART, RS232/485 & Ethernet etc.
Collaborate with PCB Engineers in layout development and review
Knowledge of Power electronics Design is Plus
Experience in using of knowledge any EDA tools OrCAD, Altium etc.
Experience in product design, circuit optimization, power estimation and complete product development lifecycle.
Experience in circuit Simulation & Analysis Tools using LTSpice, Tina etc.
Experience in Pri-root SI analysis.
Awareness on environmental pre compliance and regulatory standards EMI/EMC & solutions
Experience in board bring up, HW testing, debug, test plan & report preparation (DVP &R support).
Design of EMI/EMC solutions as per standards
Hands on experience with test measurement instruments Oscilloscopes, DMM, power analyzer etc.
Able to use tools for different stages of the embedded Hardware/ software development workflow.
Knowledge of end-end product development lifecycle.
