Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Key Roles and responsibility of the position Primary Role
Maintaining and optimizing large files on a cloud-based platform. This involves managing cloud-based solutions and services to enable large file transfer and optimization.
Developing AR applications using Unity and Unreal Engine. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying new AR applications.
Building applications for Microsoft HoloLens 2, iOS, Android devices, and WebGL. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure compatibility and quality.
Troubleshooting issues with AR applications and resolving them in a timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that applications function efficiently and effectively.
Collaborating with other engineers and team members to ensure the development process meets the highest standards and best practices.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and trends in order to offer effective solutions.
Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position. Education Qualification = Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electronics) Number of Years of Experience = 5 + years of experience Professional Experience
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud-based systems
Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in Python scripting and experience in using APIs to automate infrastructure deployments and management processes.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker
Experience with AR/VR creation tools such as PiXYZ Scenario, PIXYZ Studio, Unity, and Unreal Engine
Experience working with front-end web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Expectation
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities on company equipment and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Keep up to date with the latest technological developments and make recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Document and report issues to management and provide recommendations for resolution.
Provide training and support to end-users on the use of equipment and systems.
Take proactive measures to identify potential issues and implement preventative solutions.
Continuously analyse and improve processes and practices to enhance service delivery and improve overall performance.
