Johns Hopkins University Research Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland
We are seeking a Research Assistant. COMPASS vision is to promote health and wellness, and reduce health inequities among low-income, uninsured or underinsured populations in Maryland. Our mission is to create, implement, and evaluate programs that involve faculty and students in nurse-led community care, service-learning, research, scholarship and advocacy in collaboration with the community and other stakeholders including Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Johns Hopkins University entities, community-based organizations, business leaders, and health care organizations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Assist COMPASS Center Manager with Center related tasks.
Online research.
Literature research.
Document creation.
Contributing to social media efforts as well as diverse community outreach activities.
Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
English language.
Knowledge of office work and Microsoft office suite.
Organized and self-motivated.
Excellent follow-up.
Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications
- Ability to meet online.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Public Health.
Community Health.
Human Services.

Starting Salary Range : $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY ($23,195 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Casual / On Call
Schedule : Monday-Friday HRS Vary (up to 12 hrs. per week)
