Johns Hopkins University Research Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland

We are seeking a Research Assistant. COMPASS vision is to promote health and wellness, and reduce health inequities among low-income, uninsured or underinsured populations in Maryland. Our mission is to create, implement, and evaluate programs that involve faculty and students in nurse-led community care, service-learning, research, scholarship and advocacy in collaboration with the community and other stakeholders including Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Johns Hopkins University entities, community-based organizations, business leaders, and health care organizations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist COMPASS Center Manager with Center related tasks.

  • Online research.

  • Literature research.

  • Document creation.

  • Contributing to social media efforts as well as diverse community outreach activities.

Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • English language.

  • Knowledge of office work and Microsoft office suite.

  • Organized and self-motivated.

  • Excellent follow-up.

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications

  • Ability to meet online.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.

  • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Public Health.

  • Community Health.

  • Human Services.

Classified Title : Research Assistant

Role/Level/Range: ACRO37.5/03/CD

Starting Salary Range : $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY ($23,195 targeted; Commensurate with experience)

Employee group: Casual / On Call

Schedule : Monday-Friday HRS Vary (up to 12 hrs. per week)

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
