Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Manager

CTTX Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) department.

  • Ensure optimal patient care by maintaining high standards of nursing practice, monitoring patient outcomes, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of ICU staff, including nurses and support staff.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient care.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.

  • Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the ICU department.

  • Provide guidance and support to staff in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in critical care nursing and healthcare management.
