University of Maryland, Baltimore Faculty Position: Plastic Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland
FACULTY POSITION: DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY, DIVISION OF PLASTIC SURGERY The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Plastic Surgery. This role is comprehensive and requires individuals who are board-certified in Plastic Surgery or have completed training in an accredited Plastic Surgery residency. Responsibilities will include establishing a broad Plastic Surgery practice within the University of Maryland Medical System, providing care to complex plastic surgery patients, educating medical students, surgery residents, and fellows. We are looking for candidates who have a clear plan for clinical practice building, academic development, and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Faculty will have the privilege and responsibility of teaching all facets of plastic surgery to integrated plastic surgery trainees as well as general surgery trainees. They will expand their research and scholarly activities to achieve national and international recognition as they advance the field.
