Description

My client is actively looking for an assistant controller to be groomed for the controller role within a year or two. In the assistant controller role, you will manage a team focused on financial reporting, month end close and handling a high volume of account reconciliations. This is a fast-track opportunity for an assistant controller or controller who has some flexibility to land a great long-term fit. The CFO and Controller are well known in the local market and have a great deal of industry knowledge to share. The company is successful, well respected and very stable. Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline

• Strong attention to detail

• Public accounting or CPA a plus but not required.

• Experience in financial services or banking required to be considered.
