Job Title: Pathologist Assistant

Job Description

As a Pathologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our medical lab operations. Daily responsibilities include turning on and operating grossing equipment and computers, accessioning, and processing specimens in the system. You will also handle specimen grossing and ensure their transfer to the regional lab. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Baldwin Park, California.

Work Environment

You'll be joining a small, dynamic team consisting of 4 pathologists, 2 other Pathologist Assistants, 4 tissue technicians, and 4 pathology aides focused on accessioning and aiding tasks. Work hours are set from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Baldwin Park, with an alternative shift available from 11:00AM to 7:30PM. The schedule, which is 40 hours per week, is released a week in advance. Training is 11am-7:30pm
