Job Title: Workforce Development Program Coordinator Reports To: Workforce Development Program Director FLSA Status: Exempt Date Prepared: August 2022


Position Summary

The Workforce Development Program Coordinator at Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) coordinates, implements, and maintains all AUTMHQ program participant (AUTMite) services to advance AUTMHQ's workforce development objectives. Strategize and execute ways to identify, target, recruit, onboard, enroll, manage AUTMites receiving our services. Provide documented support and serve as a resource to other personnel, volunteers, and external partners. Ensure objectives of programs and services are achieved. Follow and recommend policies that advance AUTMHQ's competitive position and profitability. Complete tasks on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. Collaborate to ensure the organization's many programs, events, and initiatives are efficiently harnessed by the larger community.

Collaborate with management, administrators, volunteers, and other stakeholders to implement and grow AUTMite services and programs.

Efficiently operate AUTMite programs by having regular interaction with AUTMites to ensure they are receiving hard and soft skills training, mentoring, exposure to networking and events, on-the-job training, and community service opportunities.

Report regularly on AUTMite status to leadership and track the information in our CRM Microsoft Dynamics.

Ensure AUTMite exposure to and registration for wraparound services.

Ensure AUTMite placement in jobs and attendance at events.

Compile and evaluate data to analyze challenges, ensure compliance with grant funding and organization policies, track and monitor program parts and results.

Respond to issues and concerns involving AUTMites, volunteers, and external partners. Address community concerns and requests.

Follow processes, plans, and procedures regarding AUTMite recruitment, placement, retention, progress to completion and employment.

Manage risk, resources, dropout prevention and data analysis; innovate.

Manage and work with staff to identify AUTMites who are not making adequate programmatic progress and design appropriate interventions.

Suggest processes to improve program functions.

Build relationships with partners, peers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Strengthen processes that enhance volunteer engagement.

Promote company culture and strategic vision.

Brainstorm comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

Brainstorm strategies to steer the company in a positive direction.

Create spreadsheets, reports, and other documents.
