YOUR FUTURE TEAM As part of TCEQ Administrative Services, you would help support the logistical and operational structure for TCEQ statewide -- the business foundation for the whole agency. See details about what we do. This position is a member of our Information Resources Division. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Experience with database development or system integration. Experience using Crystal Reports and/or developing new reports from scratch. Experience using Oracle databases or Microsoft Access; Excel; and/or PowerPoint. HERES WHAT YOULL BE DOING... Provide quality assurance/quality control of Central Registry data, complete technical duties involving the analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of data discrepancy among program areas across the agency for the TCEQ. Monitor data validation, standards and duplication; and communicate and/or meet with applicable program area(s) on data discrepancies. Facilitate the analysis, review and maintenance of existing and future data models; and prepare reports on related recommendations. Set up and maintains reference data tables, prepares "ad-hoc" and "canned" reports. Assist internal and external customers on Central Registry's core data requirements. Qualifications: EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Two years of full-time experience in data analysis, data research, or data compilation; and/or reporting work. OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in engineering, basic science, computer science, environmental studies, mathematics, statistics or a related field. OR A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; plus one year of the required experience Transcripts/ College Hours or Course Work:See instructionson how to attach documents.
