Staff Android Engineer

Join Our Team as a Staff Android Engineer

Embark on a journey of innovation and impact at our fast-paced, results-oriented company. As a Staff Android Engineer, you are at the forefront of designing and maintaining a best-in-class suite of Android client applications that redefine the landscape of payment technology.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the full cycle of Android application development, from installation and configuration to customization and support.

• Design and implement new systems, collaborating with other engineers to integrate innovative solutions.

• Serve as a technical leader, mentoring other engineers in writing maintainable, unit-tested code, and advancing the maturity of our product testing through automation.

• Engage directly with third-party vendors to tailor solutions that meet our technical requirements and enhance system interoperability.

• Drive continuous improvement by working with senior management on refining technical processes and procedures, focusing on client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Participate in agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

What You Will Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.

• 5+ years of experience in programming, API design for data architectures, and maintaining enterprise software applications.

• 3+ years in a development leadership role, with a strong track record in project management and team collaboration.

• Extensive experience with unit testing, client-server interactions, and scaling cloud-based systems.

• Expertise in Android application architecture and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Gradle/Kotlin DSL.

What Would Be Great To Have:

• Advanced knowledge of the Fintech space, particularly in e-commerce and payment service gateways like Clover.

• Experience in transforming and modernizing legacy systems to elevate technology frameworks and customer experiences.
