We are seeking an experienced and driven Programmatic Senior Account Manager with expertise in programmatic ad buying to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of programmatic advertising, exceptional client management skills, a strategic mindset, and a strong background in data analysis. As a Programmatic Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving campaigns, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-channel teams to optimize results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the main point of contact and building strong, trusted relationships.

  • Utilize expertise in DV360 to create, implement, and optimize programmatic campaigns that align with client objectives.

  • Lead campaign building, management, and optimization, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract insights, develop recommendations, and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-channel teams to ensure cohesive strategies and alignment across different advertising channels.

  • Assist in pitching programmatic solutions to prospective clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of DV360 capabilities.

  • Perform comprehensive creative analysis and testing, identifying opportunities to enhance campaign performance.

  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills by identifying and resolving technical issues related to 3rd party tags, API feeds, and reporting tools.

  • Exhibit strong decision-making skills when faced with complex challenges, ensuring optimal client outcomes.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and adapt strategies to remain at the forefront of programmatic advertising.

  • Leverage technical skills to work with analytics tools, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting for campaign performance.

  • Collaborate with the SEM and paid social teams to leverage insights and enhance overall paid advertising efforts.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing a client’s or clients’ programmatic advertising, including using Adlucent's proprietary Aura™ software, Google Analytics, and any other software and attribution tools at their disposal

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of campaigns; manage and optimize to meet client and internal performance goals. Independently troubleshoot account & technical issues to ensure that campaigns are maximizing performance

  • Partner with clients and lead internal account team members to define, drive and execute effective optimization strategies and testing schemes designed to improve campaign KPIs

  • Maintain strong communication with agency clients and internal team members to keep everyone informed of campaign status, scope or timeline changes and manage client expectations

  • Properly monitor campaign performance against client’s objectives, making optimization recommendations as necessary

  • Run weekly internal meetings to update on account performance, team activities and results, and any roadblocks; work with peers and your Account Supervisor to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues

  • Run bi-weekly client call(s) to update client(s) on performance and activities and provide insights around the account and the client’s business

  • Independently prepare and lead semi-annual/quarterly strategic business reviews with the client to discuss industry insights, account performance, and strategic opportunities and ideas

  • Explore additional strategic opportunities for the client and for Adlucent through research, testing/analysis, or working in new channels

  • This position may involve occasional travel, accounting for approximately 10% of the total work time. Travel requirements vary based on project needs, client engagements, and industry events. While the primary responsibilities of the role can be fulfilled remotely, some travel may be necessary to attend client meetings, industry conferences, team workshops, or other business-related activities.

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years experience managing strategy and execution for DV360 accounts spending $100K/mo+ Proven track record of managing programmatic campaigns in DV360 with hands-on experience in campaign building, management, and optimization.

  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

  • Excellent client management skills, including the ability to pitch solutions and build lasting relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape and trends.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly.

  • Self-starter who can work independently, demonstrate initiative, and lead projects.

  • Strong technical skills in analytics tools and reporting platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.

  • Agency experience involving display, video and programmatic and other digital media as well as client relationship management

  • Working knowledge of programmatic campaign workflow including setup, management, and reporting

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to clearly and effectively articulate business and marketing strategies, able to pitch proposals and influence clients

Great to Have:

  • Retail and/or national brand experience preferred

  • Proficiency in technical aspects of programmatic advertising, including troubleshooting technical issues.

  • Knowledge of SEM, paid social, and other paid advertising channels is a plus.

  • Media agency and/or client-side experience preferred

  • Fluent in a variety of DSPs (DV360, TTD, and Amazon DSP preferred), and Ad Servers

  • Familiarity with MMM, DMM, or attribution modeling

  • Assist with identifying, reporting, and resolving technical issues such as issues with 3rd party tags, API feeds, reporting tools, etc.

  • Strong technical skills around website analytics tools, URLs (structure, parameters, encoding), Javascript, and HTML

Position Summary

The Sr Account Manager as a business partner is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with teams and clients. The Sr AM will be the liaison, acting as a point of contact and will help provide solutions, training and project management to help deliver outstanding results. The Sr AM must have the ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment and be able to make decisions and meet stringent deadlines.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaison - Work closely with client and management as the primary point of contact to ensure appropriate communication is delivered in an accurate, timely and consistent manner.

  • Troubleshooting –Ensure all issues are properly escalated to the appropriate department. Provide feedback to and consult with the team and/or Client when needed regarding changes that need to be made.

  • Training and Education – Assesses and addresses training needs regarding existing and new software functionality.

  • System Platform and Configuration – Participate in new software release testing and validate the accuracy of the database after each enhancement release.

  • Project management: Act as a project manager on behalf of the client/team by leading the project from conception to completion.

  • Very strong communication and leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients

  • Comfortable and conversant with technology- very familiar with IPad, smartphones etc.

  • Project management of small to medium size project plans

  • Comfortable training or presenting in front of groups of people

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Templates)

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point)
