Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. As a product marketing manager for AWS Marketplace, you will be part of a team tasked with developing messaging and materials that highlight how customers and partners can transform their procurement processes and accelerate innovation with fast access third-party partner solutions that run on AWS. You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will create compelling content to help customers understand service use cases and value propositions, and support marketing programs that drive customer and partner engagement and service adoption. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and how partner solutions can be used to create business outcomes across industries and use-cases.

This position may sit in Austin, TX (preferred location) or Seattle, WA USA only. Relocation to these locations only from within the USA only.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials for AWS Marketplace and partner services

  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals

  • Work with product teams to support AWS Marketplace and Partner service launches by distilling key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages

  • Develop and support AWS presence at first and third-party events, positioning AWS as the leading cloud marketplace

  • Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the

largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The

AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer

success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top

of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Experience working with partners (including independent software vendors (ISVs), solution integrators (SIs), and managed service providers (MSPs)), on partner programs, or in partner marketing.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
