Oracle Manager, Paid Search in Austin, Texas

Position at a Glance:

You will be part of a global team responsible for the in-house management of paid search. You will help develop strategies and execute day to day tactics to increase marketing-generated pipeline across Oracle products. In the Paid Search Manager role, you will be responsible for delivering regular reports, analysis and insights to measure and improve marketing program effectiveness. You will manage budgets including spend forecasts; manage keyword builds and audits, campaign testing promotion execution, and daily bid optimization. This role reports to the Paid Search Director.

This position will be tasked with:

  • Extensive hands-on-keyboard experience planning, managing and executing strategies, including working in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads on campaign setup, optimization, and budget management

  • Establishing the testing roadmap, including set-up, execution and results/rollout

  • Keyword analysis, including keyword forecasts, expansions, search query reports, utilizing trending tools and aligning with brand teams to support focus initiatives.

  • Copy creation including working with the product teams to maintain voice and setting a cadence for refreshing/testing copy

  • Delivering against demand-gen KPIs

  • Translate business objectives for key products into Paid Search strategy

  • Collaborate with other digital teams including Paid Social/Programmatic/Direct, SEO and analytics

  • Provide business intelligence and best practices by delivering weekly/monthly reporting as well as improved reporting automation & insights

  • Maintain vendor relationships to stay educated on new opportunities, betas/alphas

  • Understand in depth account set up, tracking, execution and implementation of strategies and testing

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in Paid Search in-house are at an agency.

  • Proven track record managing high campaign volume, large budgets, complex strategies across multiple business units and driving quantifiable results.

  • Expert level Google Ads and Microsoft Ads user

  • An Analytical Mindset: Critical to search marketing itself – but also critical to selling success to executives at a company built on data and insights. Demonstrating constant, measurable improvements by adopting the new or tuning the old. Advanced MS Excel skills and a passion for data driven marketing, including vlookups, hlookups, pivot tables, macros.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Whether verbal, written or PowerPoint, you’ll need to be able to communicate both technical and strategic ideas with stakeholders and internal teams.

  • Strong technical knowledge: Work with Analytics, lead flow and site teams to ensure there is technical capability to deliver, capture and ensure success of key aspects – such as landing pages, tracking codes and integration of analytics.

  • Ability to Multi-task and handle multiple projects without missing deadlines.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve business challenges

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
