Graphics Design Verification Flow Engineer

As part of our Silicon Engineering group, you’ll be contributing to our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC)! You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and expertly handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices! At Apple, we push our designs to the limit to make amazing products. We want to delight our customers with hardware that performs great while delivering long battery life. In this highly visible engineering role, you will be responsible for crafting, deploying, and maintaining the automation used by hardware design and verification engineers on graphics processor projects. You will work in a small development team to meet ever-increasing challenges to enable the improvement of both the development efficiency and quality of hardware work.

Key Qualifications

• Coursework or experience relating to:

• Scripting and debugging in a Unix-like environment.

• Software development processes.

• Designing quantitative experiments, gathering data, and analyzing and presenting results.

• Coursework or experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Machine learning.

• Distributed and cloud computing.

• Database design.

Description

• Learn about the unique challenges of graphics hardware development and verification. • Work within in a small development team that supports a large organization across multiple sites. • Help maintain and enhance production tools that are critical to project success. • Develop software solutions in a mixed Python and Ruby environment. • Partner with other engineers across multiple organizations to solve common problems.
