Architect, Data, North American Applications Consulting

Overview: We are seeking an experienced architect with expertise in Oracle technologies to lead and guide our customers in their data strategy and implementation efforts. This role is pivotal in providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and oversight of data strategy implementations, encompassing data governance, master data management, analytics, data warehousing, and preferably AI/ML. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful implementations, strong leadership and communication skills, and deep hands-on expertise in Oracle technologies, including Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Data Catalog, Fusion Data Intelligence Platform, and Oracle SaaS. Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Lead and guide customers in defining, developing, and implementing comprehensive data strategies aligned with their business objectives, using Oracle technologies and standard methodologies.

Collaborate closely with partners to assess data needs, find opportunities, and define strategic priorities for data governance, master data management, analytics, data warehousing, and AI/ML.

Provide hands-on technical leadership and oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery, consistency to standard processes, and alignment with project timelines and objectives.

Effectively communicate data strategy initiatives, technical recommendations, and project progress to senior architects, and other key partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.

Work with customers to define and establish data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures using Oracle Data Catalog, (or customer tools) ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Design and implement master data management solutions using Oracle technologies (or customer tools) to streamline data processes, improve data quality, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Design and guide customers in implementing advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud and Fusion Data Intelligence Platform, using customer data to derive actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and analytics capabilities.

Provide thought leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

Collaborate with Oracle SaaS teams to integrate data strategy initiatives with Oracle Cloud applications, ensuring seamless data flows and interoperability.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Oracle product updates in the data management and analytics space and incorporate them into strategic recommendations and solution designs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in data strategy, data management, analytics, and Oracle technologies, with a focus on Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Data Catalog, Fusion Data Intelligence Platform, and Oracle SaaS.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and partner management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Deep expertise and multiple implementations with hands-on experience in some or most of the following: data governance, master data management, analytics, data warehousing using Oracle technologies.

  • AI/ML experience in the above space is preferred.

  • Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good attention to detail and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

  • Relevant Oracle certifications.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
