Directing and overseeing summer camps for high school students
Teach all anatomy ultrasound labs for Modern Human Anatomy Master's Program

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Candidates must hold an MD or a PhD in Anatomy, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, or a related field.
Candidates must have at least one year of teaching experience in cadaver-based gross anatomy in graduate or medical school.
Candidates must have successfully completed a graduate-level embryology course and have taught some component of the course at minimum as a TA
Candidates must have successfully completed a graduate-level course in educational pedagogy
Candidates must have successfully completed a course or workshop that included training in ultrasound
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates should have a strong record of innovation and accomplishments related to Anatomical sciences education and outreach programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to contribute to a vigorous and innovative educational and research program.
Cadaver dissection skills
Educational skills in teaching gross anatomy (using both cadaver-based and ultrasound-based teaching tools) and embryology
Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills

We invite applications for a Senior Instructor position. They will join a highly interactive, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students, and fellows, who investigate many aspects of cell and developmental biology and anatomy.

The cell biology and developmental biology communities at the University of Colorado School of Medicine are diverse. Faculty in several of the basic science departments and multiple clinical departments are actively involved in basic and disease-focused research. The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology is one of six basic science departments in the School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus at the University of Colorado. The starting salary range () for this position has been established as $68,000-$90,000 The above salary range () represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
