Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to HVAC system including Siemen controls.
- Perform basic plumbing, carpentry and other associated trades as needed.
- Repair and maintain Civic Center building including lawns, parking lots, lighting, etc.
- Ensure all doors and exits work properly.
- Work on/with light power equipment.
- Maintain and/or check all non-contracted emergency systems and equipment such as fire extinguishers, exit lights, emergency lights, etc.
- Operate forklift and riding floor machine.
- Layout power cables for trade shows.
- Maintain maintenance tools and inventory.
Hours
- Must have the ability to work a non-traditional work week, which includes nights and weekends.
- Hours are based on scheduled events.
Requirements
- General knowledge of interior and exterior facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry and associated trades. Ability to operate light equipment such as pick-up truck/plow, riding mower, weed whacker, snow blower, floor washer, fork lift, etc.
- Ability to understand, follow and deliver verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to interact effectively with coworkers and the public.
Pay Scale
- Intermittent Part-Time, non-exempt - non-union position.
Pay range PT15 \$16.65 to \$20.83 per hour.
