The Supervisor, Centralized Business Office is responsible for the day-to-day workflow and supervision of one area of the Centralized Business Office. This includes working as and monitoring performance of that assigned area. The Supervisor is expected to be a subject matter expert in the area. Direct supervision of assigned staff to include: coaching, mentoring, monitoring, evaluating, and utilization of progressive discipline as required.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and 3 years or more of experience in Healthcare reimbursement. Excellent internal/external customer service skills. Insurance billing requirements. Proficient in use of Microsoft programs. Experience in healthcare billing system.
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree. 5 years or more of experience in hospital or professional billing. Excellent leadership skills. Medical/ Insurance billing and collections experience. Experience in Healthquest or IDX.
