Robot Programmer Auburn Hills, MI
Position Summary: Main Accountabilities:
- An on-call position to perform preventative maintenance/emergency repairs of Robotic system equipment in the field
- Provide system integration support of robots to designated build shops as well as the end users
- Have mechanical aptitude for performing any mechanical component repair or replacement
- Have knowledge of PLC communications and other robotic peripheral equipment
- Submit Sales leads for additional Robotic and system opportunities
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Minimum Associates Degree in a technical discipline, with 5 years of experience programming Robots
- Good electronic and Mechanical Experience (2-5+ years Experience)
- Troubleshooting through deductive reasoning
- Related applications experience preferred: Spot welding, Arc welding, paint & Sealant applications, etc. (2-5+ years Experience)
- Have knowledge of PLC communications and other robotic peripheral equipment
- Strong desire to travel up to 75%
Must be proficient with:
- Robot Studio system building and building programs.
- Able to program setup System Parameters.
- TeachTool center points
- Perform Backups
