Position Summary
In support of Morehouse School of Medicine’s Vision; “Leading the creation and advancement of health equity,” and our partnership with Fulton County, The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a part-time physician to join their team to support the delivery of care at our Morehouse Healthcare East Point Clinic.
Physicians will:
Assess and diagnose patients in our clinic, providing them with healthcare services that meet State and National standards for caregiving.
Prescribe patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues, and promote a healthier life.
Work with Nurse Practitioners to ensure understanding of state and local compliance measures.
Work in electronic health record systems.
Cross collaborate with other providers specialized in their fields.
Family Medicine Specialty Areas:
General Family Medicine
Geriatrics
Women’s Health
Pediatrics (within Family Medicine)
Psychiatry
Sports Medicine
This role will provide weekend coverage at our Buggy Works Clinic.
Minimum Qualifications
• MD degree
• Georgia Medical License
• Board Certification
• Preferred experience in medical student and/or resident teaching
• Good interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism

Immunization Requirements
It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
