Inspire Brands Sr Solutions Architect - POS and Restaurant Operations in Atlanta, Georgia

Inspire Brands is looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect specializing in Point of Sale (POS) and team member-facing/operational restaurant systems (KDS, labor management/scheduling, inventory management, analytics/reporting, etc.) to help us transition to the next-generation restaurant experience and technical capability.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of our POS and restaurant operations solutions across all brands. Your expertise will help us integrate POS with the rest of our ecosystem, including digital ordering, loyalty, payment processing, back-of-house, financial system, analytics/reporting and more.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our technical solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Restaurant Technology Architecture Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive team member-facing restaurant technology architecture that aligns with the organization's business goals.

  • Drive digital innovation, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technology advancements.

  • Architecture Design and Development:

  • Lead architecture/design of the next-generation multi-brand POS and team member-facing technology ecosystem that is scalable, resilient, and adaptable to changing business needs.

  • Lead integration of POS with other systems such as digital ordering, mobile apps, loyalty, payment, inventory management, financial systems, and more.

  • Ensure that POS architecture supports omnichannel/unified commerce strategies, enabling a seamless and cohesive user experience across various digital touchpoints.

  • Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Mentor and guide architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Provide thought leadership and technical guidance/assistance during implementation, deployment, and troubleshooting.

  • Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of POS implementation/rollout, ensuring it is delivered as designed. Help mitigate architecture/design issues as they come up.

  • Proactively mitigate potential obstacles.

  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory standards, and industry/technology best practices.

  • Performance Measurement:

  • Continuously assess and refine restaurant technology architecture to drive performance improvements and operational efficiencies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: 4-yeardegree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience in senior architect roles, with a demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale restaurant/hospitality/retail solutions focusing on POS and back-of-house systems.

  • Prefer hands-on experience designing/implementing POS architecture.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Expert knowledge of restaurant/hospitality/retail technologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • A combination of strategic thinking and tactical execution with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.·Prefer deep understanding of multi-brand QSR or retail/hospitality business and associated technology ecosystems.

This position sits within our Atlanta Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time
