Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP& A Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess advanced financial analysis capabilities along with proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This role will be instrumental in driving insightful financial decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.

  • Reporting: Develop and maintain robust reporting packages for various stakeholders, including executive leadership, to provide actionable insights into financial performance and key metrics.

  • Data Visualization: Utilize Tableau or Power BI to create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate financial trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Forecasting and Planning: Lead the development and refinement of the company's financial forecasts and annual budgeting process, working closely with business partners to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as required to support special projects, initiatives, or strategic decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including finance, accounting, operations, and business development to gather data, understand business drivers, and support cross-functional initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the quality of financial reporting and analysis.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required.

  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering actionable insights.

  • Prior experience in a corporate FP& A role preferred.
