How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

At Delta Air Lines, we create world-class digital experiences that are customer-focused, innovative, easy-to-use and revenue-enhancing. The Merchandising team works cross-functionally with the Digital, Product Management, and IT teams to enhance and create new experiences on delta.com and the Fly Delta apps. The team is focused on evolving our approach to merchandising as we work to support critical strategic pillar initiatives and grow customer engagement and premium revenue along the travel ribbon.

As a Merchandising Senior Product Leader, you’ll have an eye for detail and work with internal stakeholders to help position Delta’s branded products, measure performance, propose and develop optimization tests, and identify and implement up-sell opportunities and premium customer experiences. You’ll keep your stakeholders up-to-date and build consensus on revenue-driving initiatives. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, building relationships and have a bias toward action.

Responsibilities:

  • Use performance data and optimization testing to identify opportunities to grow premium up-sell and other insights to improve product positioning and customer education throughout the shopping flow and across digital direct channels.

  • Lead team reporting including performance specific to merchandising touchpoints and KPIs, support continual reporting improvement including dashboard development in Adobe Analytics and Quantum Metric, drive reporting efficiency and support storytelling of team’s value.

  • Drive recommendations, implementation, and prioritization on explorations with a willingness to take calculated risks that challenge the status quo.

  • Collaborate with teams of IT developers, UX designers, and cross-functional business teams to successfully deliver initiatives like refreshed upsell modal functionality or integration of additional content management platforms.

  • Develop clear, concise copy that maintains a clear and consistent brand voice throughout the travel ribbon- from shopping to post-purchase.
