Insight Global Lead Quality Engineer - Hybrid ATL in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead/Senior Quality Engineer to test current systems running in Puerto Rico and Canada. Our initial thoughts were to assist with creating automated regression scripts for PR and CA specific items that are sometimes missed during deployments to InForm, ServicePoint, .ca, .pr, menu, etc. Also, we are looking for a QE with API testing experience that would probably come into play further down the line when we start to move over to the new tech stack. Wholistically, this person will look at the current projects, decide what types of tools we will need for effective testing, and create a plan for testing strategy. 70% strategy; 30% hands-on tactical testing to start, but once we get the strategy in place, they will need to be able to pivot and get down in the weeds; might flip to 30/70 as projects get busier down the road. This person will be working autonomously and will be running the ship for QA strategy -- need to be confident and proactive!

The Quality Lead will guide the quality assurance process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality before release. This role involves strategic planning, coordination with various teams, supervision of test execution, and QA leadership to guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA processes.

* Manage the Quality Execution Schedule

* Conduct review meetings to obtain approval for the Quality Execution Schedule

* Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with internal project leads to monitor status and resolve issues

* Conduct on-boarding training for Quality Execution Services

* Supervise effectiveness and efficiency of test execution and identify process improvements

* Maintain a staffing schedule to ensure that adequate coverage is provided

* Define new feature test cases based on user stories

* Define regression test cases

* Communicate with feature teams to understand new features and test priorities

* Execute new feature test cases and regression test cases for each release

* Maintain test cases in a test case repository tool (Zephyr Scale)

* Publish test results and coordinate remediation with feature teams

* Conduct integration testing across various systems including web, mobile, middleware, APIs, and point of sale systems

* Perform visual testing for React Native mobile apps and React web applications, leveraging tools such as Storybook

* Collaborate with developers to understand unit test coverage and identify additional areas for manual testing to ensure acceptance criteria are met

* Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under varying conditions

* Other services requested by client

Compensation:

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
