Description Position Summary:

The Sr. IT Manager is responsible for overseeing Information Technology personnel and the daily operations within the department to ensure the efficient and safe operation of Company technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.

• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of Company systems.

• Construct and implement plans to ensure the Company network operates effectively and securely.

• Create and manage Company’s information and system security policies and procedures.

• Offer technical support to Company staff and troubleshoot and resolve computer problems.

• Create and implement strategies to install and update Company software and hardware when needed.

• Maintain the Company’s technology budget and plan for anticipated repairs and replacements.

• Maintain current understanding of new technologies and industry trends. Create and present plans for improvements to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

• Certificate in CompTIA Security+, CISA, and/or CCNA, Net Plus, Security Plus, desktop support, change management, managing remote resources.

• Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations.

• In depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security.

• Previous experience managing responsibilities listed above in “Duties and Responsibilities”.

• Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• 7-10 years’ IT experience, managing vendor, outsourced processes, extensive cyber security experience, and knowledge, project management, managing outsourced projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information system security, or a related field.
