The Design Coordinator – Architecture & Design is a key member of the A&D team and supports the VP and Directors with various team related projects and activities. This role supports organization for the team. This role will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and reporting the work of the A&D team to ensure that proposals and invoices are processed timely, program status and exception request reports issued, outliers followed up on, and supporting updates/access to the One Inspire design portal.

This is position is required to be onsite at The Atlanta Support Center up to 80%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates and supports communication efforts including reporting on multiple programs, resourcing project information for design initiatives, organizing proposal requests, and managing access to the OneInspire design portal.

• Coordinates with other departments/teams such as construction, real estate, accounting, IT, or legal to ensure initiatives move forward.

• Maintains accurate records and produces reports on programs status, deliverable outlier status, and follow up.

• Serves as an intermediary between business partners and the accounting organization, including invoice processing and tracking spend by design initiative.

• Provides administrative support for VP/Directors such as sample ordering and booking vendor meetings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-year degree within business, architecture, interior design, or another related field

• Minimum 2 years work experience in architecture/engineering/construction/development field

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

• Demonstrated understanding of real estate development process, from site selection to project close out

• Proficient at basic project/program management experience

• Proficient in web-based systems/portals, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint

• Requires excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and a customer service focus

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative

• Demonstrate strong organization skills with file management and document tracing

• Must be detail oriented with the ability to plan work effectively, to meet the deadlines assigned, and to make sound decisions
