Position Title: Land Logistics Associate
Location: TITAN Greece
TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Land Logistics Associate for our Head Office in Athens. The position reports to the Land Logistics Coordinator. The primary scope of this role is to support the logistics teams to achieve the effective distribution of cement and aggregate products.
Main Responsibilities
• Support the logistics teams to achieve the effective distribution of cement and aggregate products • Assist in coordinating the transportation and delivery of goods • Track and update inventory levels to ensure accurate stock information • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations. • Generate and maintain accurate documentation related to shipments and inventory • Support the optimization of transportation routes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency • Collaborate with team members to address logistical challenges and find effective solutions. • Provide administrative support for various logistics tasks as needed • Follow all SAP SD/Logistics business processes for the logistics department • Work closely with the logistics teams at the cement plants and quarries to ensure the efficient transportation of products and resolve any operational issues • Assist in creating reports for monitoring freight data and transportation cost • Carrying out safety walks on the premises of the factories for the compliance of safety rules by the fleet
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position • SAP SD experience will be considered a plus • Proficient planning, organization, and time-management abilities • Ability to communicate with internal and external parties in a collaborative and positive manner • Accuracy in analyzing and researching data • Initiative-taking attitude toward problem-solving • Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written) • Excellent command of MS Office • Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable)
