This Staff Accountant position is for candidates who can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. This role's duties include internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Responsibilities

• Complete monthly bank reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc client reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements

• Assist in preparation of internal reports as needed

• Process accounts payable invoices - transaction entry and processing

• Process cash receipts - transaction entry and processing

• Monitor daily cash balance

• Assist on other projects as needed

• Provide excellent accounting related client customer service and support

• Assist in identifying opportunities in the accounting systems to streamline processes

  Requirements

• • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• • Efficient in ERP systems
• • Sage Intacct experience
• • Competent with spreadsheets and databases
• • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
• • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
• • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
• • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
• • Recent and relevant accounting experience
• • Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
