Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist for its Corporate operations with a worksite location in Washington D.C. .This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both the marketing and business development realms, spanning a wide variety of internal and client-facing design and communications projects. Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Execution

• Assist in the strategic planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all communicationchannels with the objective of increasing brand awareness and elevating PCI's profile with potential clients. This includes helping develop account-based marketing strategies targeting our existing client base and broadening our engagement nationwide.

•Support the coordination and execution of executive client meetings, seminars, industry trade shows, receptions, sponsorships and other marketing-oriented events and activities. This would comprise all pre and post event material development, as well as some limited travel. Deliverables would include event promotional materials, development of invitations, name tags, advertising, program guides, branded giveaway items, and digital presentations. On-site attendance and facilitation of certain key events would also be required.

•Help grow PCI’s engagement with key industry organizations by networking and assisting with local, regional and national conferences and business meetings.

Marketing Content Curation

• Develop written and graphic content for digital marketing assets, client and industry events, as well as general sales support. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, brochures, client-specific presentations and slide decks, proposals, web content, social media posts, newsletters, project histories and case studies, news blogs, and other external client-facing materials.

• Design and publishing skills are a plus, but most applications will involve editing existing templates within PowerPoint, InDesign, WordPress and Canva.

Marketing Coordination and Administration

• Serve as campaign administrator by assisting with project management, asset coordination, as well as aligning internal project marketing team members and project collaborators.

• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and produce reports measuring KPI’s and the overall impact of campaign, event, social media and web marketing effectiveness. Circulate reports among internal stakeholders to share lessons learned, highlighting key takeaways to help improve the effectiveness of future initiatives.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field.

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Able to develop campaigns and marketing solutions from conception to delivery.

  • Must have the ability to write compelling content that aligns with the project goals by partnering with subject matter experts to collect and refine researched content.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva is preferred.

  • Ability to travel 20%

  • Local to the Ashburn, VA area

  • Working knowledge of WordPress is preferred

  • Experience with various systems and databases including ERP and CRM applications
