We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing surfaces and ing various coatings, paints, and finishes to industrial equipment, floors and structures for a warehouse facility. Attention to detail, work ethic, and the ability to work in various environments both outdoors and indoors are essential for this role.

salary: $20 - $21 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and using solvents to remove dirt, grease, and rust.

• Apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.

• Measure and mix paint and other coatings according to specifications, ensuring the correct color and consistency.

• Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring that it meets project specifications and industry standards.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials.

• Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

• Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.

• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Sandblasting (1 year of experience is required)

• Industrial Painting (2 years of experience is required)
