What You’ll Be Doing

The Cadmus Group seeks a motivated Research Analyst to join our growing Sustainability and Resilience team. Sustainability and Resilience directly supports government, corporate, and non-profit organizations seeking to achieve climate, energy, and sustainability goals; prepare for all types of disasters; and enhance their overall resilience.

Research Analysts within the Sustainability and Resilience team have varied analytic responsibilities, including research and writing; qualitative and quantitative analysis; policy review and development; data visualization; disaster planning and preparedness; stakeholder engagement; and interfacing with clients. This candidate would support a variety of projects and tasks across climate, energy, environment, and emergency preparedness domains; this may include helping federal agencies mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change, implementing federal priorities aligned to recent environmental legislation, supporting state-level clients with sustainability and clean energy efforts, and conducting crisis simulations and disaster exercises for the public and private sector.

Our ideal team member is a driven, detail-oriented analyst capable of creative problem-solving and working across multiple teams. Potential candidates are not expected to have interest/experience across all of the areas noted above. Rather, ideal candidates will have interest across a subset of the topics and are willing to learn and support projects across the different domains.

Candidates must be in the DC metro area due to in-person meeting requirements. Candidates must submit a resume and writing sample to be considered.
