SAIC has an opening for a ServiceNow Systems Administrator in Arlington, VA. SAIC is recognized as an IT leader in the intelligence and law enforcement spaces. The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the configuration, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform. This role involves managing the platform's health, implementing changes, and ensuring optimal performance to meet the organization's needs. The ServiceNow Administrator will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Administration :

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform in a self-hosted environment, ensuring its stability, performance, and availability. This includes semi-annual upgrades of the application in addition to updates and hotfixes of installed store apps.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portals, single sign on (SSO) capability, and Active Directory Profile synchronization.

  • Manage ServiceNow instance security, including user/group access, roles, and permissions.

  • Install and configure new ServiceNow store apps and plugins.

  • Incident and Problem Management:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and maintain the health of the ServiceNow platform through regular checks and proactive maintenance.

  • Development and Customization:

  • Develop and implement new modules, workflows, and custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Create and maintain service catalogs, forms, scripts, and automated workflows.

  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement integrations with other systems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience working within the ServiceNow platform completing administration tasks, including user provisioning, ticket research and response, reporting, system upgrades, system updates, hotfixes, and maintenance activities.

  • Experience supporting the implementation, administration, and configuration of ServiceNow modules into an existing ServiceNow instance.

  • Experience using the ITSM suite to include the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items.

  • Experience with front-end technology and frameworks such as HTML, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery and UI Framework on Next

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism dealing with both internal and external entities ITIL and agile.

  • Experience customizing and configuring the application UI and automated processing capabilities.

  • Experience with source/version control using Git as well as update sets.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Linux administration skills

  • ServiceNow certifications

  • ServiceNow development experience

  • .NET experience

  • Active Secret Clearance

Citizenship & Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship Required.

  • Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and USMS Public Trust prior to joining our team.
