Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Senior Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Interagency Homeland Air Security Analyst supporting the Joint Staff, J8, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO). Our work depends on Functional Analyst Expert joining our team to provide on-site subject matter expertise and analytical support to facilitate the assessment of IAMD capabilities and help senior United Stated decision-makers assess and prioritize IAMD capability needs; support and facilitate coordination and collaboration across IAMD stakeholders including the Combatant Commands, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and military Services, FFRDCs, University Affiliated Research Center (UARC), and Agencies to develop and lead technical demonstrations to foster solutions that close capability gaps to provide affordable solutions and improved interoperability across the multinational IAMD enterprise. Additionally, support studies, analysis and modeling/simulation that form the foundation for senior leaders to make establish Joint IAMD performance requirements.

How a Senior IAMD Interagency Homeland Air Security Analyst will make an impact:

  • Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects

  • Identify emerging, enabling IAMD technologies capabilities to enhance Joint IAMD Warfighting and facilitate their implementation.

  • Replicate new concepts and technologies in modeling/simulation events such as Nimble Fire and in the Joint Regional IAMD Capability Mix (JRICM) study

  • Conduct technology demonstrations

  • Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Masters Degree

  • Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • 10 years of operational Integrated Air and Missile Defense, as well as Homeland Defense experience and an understanding of technical combat identification (CID) capabilities to enable the Warfighter to execute required Joint air and missile defense engagements.

  • 5 years of experience working Interagency, homeland security, and air surveillance-related activity

  • Preferred Experience in project management

  • Location: On Customer Site (Pentagon)

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI and SAP eligible

The likely salary range for this position is $154,960 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
