Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Associate for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements.

The Software Quality Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products; develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives; designs and implements software development and maintenance processes; defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes; designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation; evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction; ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards; performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements; reviews requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies; performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.

Travel may be required to support PAC-3 program activities.

Candidate must work well in a team environment as this role requires interfacing with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers.

Must be a US citizen.

Basic Qualifications:

• Technical Engineering degree at the bachelors level or higher preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

• Ability to travel

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of Agile tools and processes

• GPA of 3.0 or Higher

• Ability to organize and track multiple activities and

prioritize task based on importance

• Ability to review, interpret and apply Drawings and

Specifications to determine compliance with requirements

• Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++)

to verify implementation of requirements

• Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building

and Collaboration

• Demonstrated Presentation skills

• Demonstrated problem solving skills

• Effective communication skills: Written, Oral, Listening,

Presentation, Technical Writing

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
