Double Up Food Bucks Coordinator – Blue Zones

Work location: Will require travel across Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex(must have reliable transportation). Position will be based out of Texas Health Clearfork, 5450 Clearfork Main Street, Fort Worth TX 76109

Work hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, however, will require at least one Saturday a month will be necessary due to partnerships with Farmer’s Markets

Here’s What You Need

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED and

Bachelor's Degree Public Health, Health Administration, or related field of study REQUIRED

Experience

3 Years Demonstrated experience coordinating volunteer services/programs serving diverse populations, managing data collection and reporting, organizing and synthesizing information from multiple sources and partners, and managing relations with external organizations is REQUIRED

1 Year Public-facing experience working with culturally diverse individuals providing program coordination REQUIRED and

6 Months Experience in working in food assistance programs PREFERRED

Skills

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability is a plus

· Solid written and communication skills

· Highly organized and excels in finding solutions

· Steadfast and reliable self-starter who is equally productive when working independently or on a team

· Entry level experience in Microsoft Office Suite required; intermediate level experience preferred

· Excellent time-management skills that enable me to establish and consistently meet deadlines

· Sensitivity to the needs of individuals and families with financial hardships, and from varied cultural backgrounds

What You Will Do

· Leads the launch, administration and on-going project management of Double Up Food Bucks at farmers markets throughout North Texas; coordinating all elements of the program i.e. required documentation, ordering of supplies, materials and equipment, and on-going technical assistance for all sites

· Supports ongoing programming at all Double Food Bucks sites; ensuring that sites receive culturally appropriate nutrition education programming and disseminating program marketing and outreach materials

· Develops and effectively manages program timelines to ensure timely completion of program deliverables and objectives

· Provides compliance monitoring and operational support to partner markets, including quarterly reporting, data collection and input, surveying and focus groups

· Serves as programmatic liaison to internal and external stakeholders as needed under the supervision of the Program Director and Program Manager and collaborate with other team members as needed for nutrition education, outreach, marketing, and promotion planning
