Description Detail-oriented individuals will be interested in this opportunity to join the ranks of a successful company as an Accounts Payable Clerk. If you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks, you might be the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk this dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a permanent position based in the Arlington, Texas area.

Your responsibilities

• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Complete full-cycle A/P

• Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling Requirements

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

• 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

• Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong familiarity with Construction Industry Experience

• Sage 50 experience required
