Grundfos Senior Finance Controller, North America in Apodaca, Mexico

What is the job about?

As a Senior Finance Controller, North America at Grundfos, you will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing financial processes, maintaining compliance standards within controlling, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will be the main point of contact for finance business partners and responsible for financial controlling of one or few entities.

This position reports directly to the Sr. Finance Manager and will be based daily at the Apodaca, NL or Valle facility. Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported, and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Facilitating accurate monthly and year-end reporting for legal entities based on Grundfos GAAP, as well as statutory financial statements with outsourced partners.

  • Delivering accurate monthly and year-end performance unit and profit center reporting in adherence to Finance and Performance Management guidelines.

  • Streamlining the supervision of external audit processes.

  • Supporting harmonization, efficiency, and effectiveness of global finance processes and internal control processes.

  • Overseeing balance sheets and cost allocations between performance units.

  • Ensuring optimal control environment at the legal entity level by following up on internal control observations from GIAS.

  • Ensuring efficient company and performance unit/profit center structures, liaising with Tax and Treasury as well as FBP and GFP&A.

  • Being the main contact with local authorities, auditors, and outsourcing partners.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Corporate Finance role using SAP.

  • Fluency in English with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP software, intermediate Excel and Microsoft Suit products.

  • High attention to detail while maintaining a broader, technical perspective.

  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.
