Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Inbound Planner Intern. You will have the opportunity to become part of a thriving and motivated department, where you can challenge yourself by managing a versatile and comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Work with suppliers and develop logistical solutions to improve performance.

  • Secure that suppliers have the needed flexibility to cope with fluctuations in demand.

  • Responsible for ordering and following up on raw material from a group of suppliers in one or more material categories to secure on-time deliveries.

  • Responsible for maintaining raw material safety stocks using relevant tools to achieve needed stock levels.

  • Accountable for the process development and optimization to secure best practice across function areas and plants.

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar, within logistics/supply chain management or alternatively have some years of logistic/supply chain/procurement experience in the logistics or procurement environment is required.
