Trane Technologies Finance Leader - Financial Planning in Apodaca, Mexico

Job Summary:

Assist in the financial activities within the site operations, including annual strategy and operating plans, quarterly reports, and special requests, providing commentary and explanation where required. Drive financial analysis to a high level of automation with databases that show key information daily for the decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Help lead financial to the Operations teams to drive better business results and operating efficiencies.

  • Demonstrates proficiency of technical tools and financial systems.

  • Consolidate Financial Planning & Analysis activities. Review financial data for reasonableness & review variances by considering sources, current business activities and historical trends prior to releasing information to business stakeholders.

  • Lead quarterly forecasting process, annual AOP process, including timeline/guideline development, target analysis, financial consolidation and reporting, and data validation of Monterrey Site.

  • Responsible for loading financial information into One Stream for AOP and Forecast.

  • Responsible for Financial analysis consolidation and reporting for MTY operations results of the in a daily and weekly basis through different reports.

  • Using Lean Six Sigma tools drive improvements in financial processes, including the appropriate use of automation, improvements in the quality and consistency of data and analysis, and elimination of non-value-added work.Lead financial analysis automation in finance department and other areas, creating financial models and dashboards.

  • Ensures SOX Internal Controls are in place and aligned to corporate guidelines (FICAP´s, SIC´s, BOS.) Ensure the company's intellectual property is protected.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance or accounting, MBA preferred.

  • +6 years professional experience, with strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements on the Mexican Manufacturing environment; maquiladora experience is a must.

  • Must have very strong Excel, Tableau and databases skills. Alterix knowledge is a plus.

  • Strong Knowledge of General Accounting, financial systems and applications, such as: PeopleSoft, Oracle and Onestream is preferred.

  • English language is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, implement process improvements, and perform in a fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
