DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will assist the skilled laborers with daily electrical, plumbing, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and construction tasks. Your duties will include assisting maintenance staff with manual labor including changing filters in plumbing systems and HVAC units; preparing and painting interior and exterior areas; loading and unloading trucks with items ranging from office supplies and furniture to construction materials; and assisting with grounds maintenance including mowing grass and removing snow.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Condition of Employment: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. Additional Requirements: You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): This position will require you to work outside, potentially in adverse weather conditions. Willingness and ability to perform work in these conditions. Experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction. Experience using any of the following hand tools: hammer, screwdriver, pliers, side-cutter, adjustable wrench, ratchets, box wrench, open wrench, or paint equipment (brush, roller, etc.). Experience using any of the following power tools: drill, circular saw, saber saw, lawn mower, weed whacker, chain saw, or hedge trimmer. Experience operating any of the following: hand mower, riding mower, weed whacker, hand scythe, shovel, rake, or pick. Experience moving/arranging furniture in offices/meeting rooms, painting, spackling, drywall repair, lift, carry, and/or move heavy items with or without assistance, raking, shoveling, trash pickup and other outside labor duties.
