Who you are You willbe responsible foradvising and guidingour Central US Brokerage group. You willprovide HRadvisory across many areas,including employee engagement, performance management, training and development,orientation and onboardinganddiversity. Youwill alsobe responsible forhandlingemployee questions and requests,always ensuring to resolve issuesin a timely mannerwith theappropriate documentation.

You will also supportHRManagers through performance managementissues;coaching managers and handling of terminations.You will develop job descriptions, conduct exit interviews, andprovideemployment law information to managers and employees upon request. You will alsobe responsible fordeveloping strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

What you bring

Degree and/or diploma in Human Resources.

2+years of Human Resources experience in a similar role.

Broad range of experience with HR programs and policies.

Strong computer skills with previous experience working with MS Office programs.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task; and exemplary communication skills.

Knowledge of current HR-related federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Bonus skills and experience

A CPHR or SHRM designation.

Experience working in alargemulti-location matrixed organization.

What success looks like

Establish collaborative partnerships and influence with business leaders across the organization on key people results (hiring, retention, engagement, DE&I, etc).

Partner strategically with business leaders to drive and deliver people strategies and goals.

Facilitate resolution of Human Resources issues in a timely manner and thrive in periods of intense activity.

Coach and direct leaders on performance management, employee relations, terminations, and conflict resolution.

Support the annual bonus/merit cycles across the region, working in close partnership with regional leadership and extended People Services team members to ensure smooth and timely execution of programs.

Work closely with extended People Services team members (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, HRSolutions, etc.) to ensure proactive and effective strategies to attract, retain and empower top talent.
