Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented accountant to join our client's team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to communicate effectively. This is a permanent position with a hybrid schedule!

• Maintain accurate and complete records related to the general ledger and subledgers and requisite documentation for an audit trail (i.e., invoices, receipts, etc.)

• Take ownership over monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reconciliations including, but not limited to, cash, accounts receivable, inventory, prepaid assets, fixed assets, payroll liabilities, accounts payable, credit card accruals, retirement liabilities, and other liabilities and accruals

• On a monthly basis, manage expense reporting for discretionary employee spend and recurring company spend

• Manage occasional daily deposits received outside of the lockbox

• Ensure accurate calculation of monthly sales force commissions, complete in a timely manner for payroll processing

• Generate and provide monthly commission reports to sales force

• Develop into a key liaison with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that disbursements are issued in a timely manner

• Manage all company procurement requests

• Participate in ongoing education opportunities to learn about industry trends and developments, accounting standards updates, and company policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
