Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Manager (MPM), you’re a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In short, you’re able to lead and influence without direct reporting relationships. This role is in support of our Land and Air Defense programs in Andover, Massachusetts on the Global Patriot Product line. The individual will be responsible for the Patriot Radar SCRUM team representing Global Supply Chain.

In this highly visible role, you’re a member of the Patriot Product Line, and as the Supply Chain interface to Patriot programs, you’re the liaison between Supply Chain and the Radar Integrated Product Team. You’ll create and execute Material Product Strategies and the Material Product Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the long-term strategy for radar production. The charter of this team is to drive the efforts and initiatives across all functional areas to improve material LOB position to meet or exceed all business and Customer requirements.

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Accountability for the supplier management process

  • Involvement with daily supply chain activities associated with each of the programs, including financial reporting and analysis.

  • Developing and executing material product strategies

  • Achieving product material budget objectives

  • Managing product purchase / subcontract requirements

  • Creating and tracking key product area performance metrics

  • Supporting monthly program and IPT Reviews

  • Spearheading Risk & Opportunities identification and mitigation / capture efforts

  • Involvement with supplier management efforts associated with suppliers critical to program success.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.

  • Experience with budget management, finance, or Earned Value Management System

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Supply Chin strategies, processes, and procedures.

  • Program or Project management experience.

  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills

  • Effective leadership and communication skills with proven ability to interact at all levels of Management.

  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective manner including exercising judgement in complex or ambiguous scenarios.

  • Earned Value Management Certification

  • Experience with budget management.

  • Experience with MRP systems and / or tools.

  • Experience working with Risk and Opportunity Management

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
