In the role of Construction Project Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Offer real-world experiences on exciting projects in Alaska

  • Assist field crews with the management and administration of civil construction projects

  • Apply standard construction management practices and procedures to building civil construction projects.
  • Use general engineering skills to perform field related tasks
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Must be able to travel, work in remote locations, and work long hours

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 1 year completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
