HR Internship – with focus on HR EMEA

Are you an enthusiastic university (of applied sciences) student with an affinity for the field of Human Resources and seeking to gain relevant experience?

Then this internship might be for you!

We are looking for a flexible intern with strong communicative skills with (full-time) availability for the duration of 6 months. Are you ambitious, have a passion for international HR, not afraid of responsibilities and are you fluent in English? Please read on to see what we have to offer you!

As an HR intern you will be part of an ambitious team supporting us with the creation and delivery of HR policies for various countries, amongst others Egypt, Turkey, Denmark, Poland. You will also be engaged with the day-to-day HR responsibilities, HR analytics and you are able to experience the dynamics of International HR in a corporate environment.

You will work together with the HR director of RELX in the Netherlands and the HRBP for Emerging Markets who are based in Amsterdam. We support remote and hybrid working for this role.

What you should bring

• Be currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master’s student with an HR focus;

• Be a native or near-native English speaker with excellent communications skills, both in writing and in everyday engagements;

• Have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

• Have good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to take initiative;

• Be able to work independently;

• Have cultural sensitivity;

• Have a flexible work attitude and be able to work under (time) pressure;

• You must be enrolled in a university program and get credits for this internship, to be eligible according to Dutch law.
